TV BRICS and leading private university in India to work together to raise the profile of BRICS
TV BRICS International Media Network will cooperate with a leading private university of the Republic of India to strengthen the foreign policy positions of the BRICS countries. The agreement on joint activities was signed by Vikas Madhukar, Head of the Centre for BRICS Studies and Vice-Chancellor of Amity University in Gurugram (Haryana), and Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS. The document signing ceremony was held in India. The partners agreed to exchange information, implement joint media projects and organise events, including academic conferences and teleconferences, aimed at raising the profile of BRICS countries on the world stage.
"The partnership between the Amity Centre for BRICS Studies and the TV BRICS International Media Network represents a strategic alignment that contributes to the broader objectives of the BRICS agenda. It presents a great opportunity to shape global perceptions of the BRICS group. By engaging in public discourse, highlighting the group's multifaceted approach to global challenges, encouraging broad stakeholder participation, and ensuring the delivery of accurate, contextual information, this collaboration can help elevate BRICS’ role on the global stage. It can foster greater understanding, build stronger support for BRICS’ initiatives, and ultimately contribute to a more inclusive and cooperative global community," said Vikas Madhukar.
The Centre for BRICS Studies at Amity University was established in 2011. Its main objective is to promote comprehensive research and disseminate the most important information on the geopolitical and geostrategic dynamics of the BRICS countries.
Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS, said that today more than 30 higher education institutions in Russia, Brazil, India and South Africa, including members of the BRICS Network University, as well as the Ministry of Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), the Ministries of Education and Higher Education of Cuba, are partners of the international media network.
