TV BRICS strengthens its media presence in the Arab world

Egyptian media group Sada El-Balad has become a new partner of the international media network

TV BRICS expands its network of partners in the Middle East and begins cooperation with Sada El-Balad (part of Cleopatra Media), one of the leading private media groups in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The agreement on joint activities was signed by Youssry Fahim Ghattas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cleopatra Media, and Ivan Polyakov, Chairman of TV BRICS International Media Network.

The partners agreed to join efforts to strengthen Egypt's position in the international media space and to widely inform the population of the country and the Middle East about the development of BRICS. Through the TV BRICS International Media Network, media outlets affiliated with Sada El-Balad will be able to exchange content with media outlets from different countries and participate in joint media projects.

"We believe this agreement is an important step that will enable close and fruitful cooperation between our organisations. We are confident that our collaboration will contribute to enriching the regional media landscape and disseminating content that emphasises the cultural and intellectual diversity of the BRICS countries. We aim to deepen media exchange and provide news and analyses that reflect Egypt's culture and achievements. This partnership will enable us to share expertise and knowledge, and produce high quality content that will serve the interests of our peoples and strengthen cooperation between our countries," said Elham Aboul Fateh, General manager of Sada El-Balad channels and websites.

The private media group Sada El-Balad ("Nation's Echo") was founded in 2011. It includes a network of TV channels and news websites. The head office is located in Giza. Editorial policy is centred on the republican and international agenda. Sada El-Balad Media operates in Arabic and English, and covers a wide range of topics, including the economy, technology, education, arts, and sports. The media group's correspondents are present in all Egyptian governorates.

"Cooperation with Sada El-Balad Media Group will allow us to fill the BRICS common information space with high-quality and reliable materials about Egypt's development and achievements. At the same time, through TV BRICS, our partner will have direct access to the current news of other countries from primary source media. This professional exchange not only helps to disseminate objective information on humanitarian and economic activities of the BRICS and BRICS+ countries, but will also open new opportunities for successful cooperation between the countries and implementation of joint international projects"

Daria Ivankova Director of International Cooperation Department of TV BRICS

Previously,  Daily News Egypt and the Middle East News Agency MENA became TV BRICS' partners in Egypt. In the Middle East, the international media network also cooperates with media outlets in the UAE and Iran. In order to develop cooperation with the media in the Arab world, the international media network announced the launch of its Arabic-language version on the eve of the XVI BRICS Summit in Russia (Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan).
