Thailand launches AI-powered platform to promote workplace health

Thailand’s Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) have introduced an artificial intelligence-driven digital platform designed to strengthen health management and workplace wellness across the country. The initiative focuses on reducing the prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) among the working-age population.

Developed under the "DOPA" strategy – Data, Outcomes, Partners and AI-driven – the platform monitors four main aspects of daily wellbeing: nutrition, sleep, exercise, and relaxation. The application encourages users to adopt healthier habits through interactive challenges and reward-based engagement intended to support long-term behavioural change.

The platform is expected to attract around 5,000 users by October. The initiative reflects Thailand’s growing use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the healthcare and wellness sectors, as reported by Vietnam News Agency (VNA), a partner of TV BRICS.

KMUTT President Associate Professor Suvit Saetia described the platform as a "personal health assistant" that enables users to track habits, set health objectives, and receive personalised recommendations. He noted that the platform is expected to contribute to the prevention of NCDs while promoting healthier working environments throughout Thailand.
