Thomas Williams had dreamed of becoming a doctor since childhood, but his decision to pursue higher education in Moscow was a spur-of-the-moment one. He arrived in Russia without knowing the Russian language or the cultural nuances. However, as he explains, he fell in love with the country from the very first days.
