Abu Dhabi hosts first Infrastructure Summit focused on future cities
The inaugural Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit 2025 commenced today at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre, running over two days under the theme: "Cities of the Future: Reinventing Infrastructure for Better Quality of Life."
The event has attracted extensive participation from policymakers, international experts, and leaders across vital sectors. It aims to explore new frameworks for integrated infrastructure that meets the needs of populations while supporting sustainability and innovation within modern cities. This is reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.
The agenda covers key sectors such as construction, energy, healthcare, mobility, and urban design, reflecting the approach needed to develop future-ready cities. More than two thousand visitors and over seventy speakers, including senior officials, developers, and representatives from international and innovative institutions, are taking part in the event.
Additionally, twenty-five exhibitors are showcasing the latest global solutions and technologies in sustainable infrastructure.
Day one featured high-level panel discussions addressing the importance of international cooperation and the integration of public and private sector roles in delivering infrastructure projects. Further topics included advancements in construction technology, such as digital modelling, artificial intelligence-based solutions, and modular techniques that enhance efficiency and accelerate delivery.
