Applications for Carbon Neutralisation Programme are extended In Brazil

Niteroi City Hall has extended the deadline for registration for the second edition of the Municipal Carbon Neutralisation Best Practices Certification Programme.

Companies and associations in the city will be able to join the programme until March 17. The Carbon Neutralisation Best Practices Certification Programme is an initiative of the Municipal Climate Secretariat (Seclima) in partnership with the Municipal Controller's Office (CGM), which aims to certify institutions that implement sustainable practices that lead to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. The programme will be managed by a committee made up of representatives from the Municipal Climate Secretariat and the City Office.

In the first edition, held in 2023, 33 companies participated in training in five key areas: participatory governance, emissions, covenants and agreements, tools and communications.
