Brazilian films to be shown in Russia
The organising committee of the XV Brazilian Film Festival has announced that eight new Brazilian feature films will be screened in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad and Moscow. The festival will take place from 7 November to 1 December.
Over time, the festival has become one of the main events associated with Brazilian culture in Russia, and this year it will screen films in the categories of drama, comedy and biography. This is reported by Prensa Latina, a partmer of TV BRICS.
Among them there are films inspired by Brazilian music: "Nosso Sonho" ("Our Dream") directed by Eduardo Albergaria, "My Name is Gal" by Lo Politi and Dandara Ferreira.
There will also be screened such films as "My Sister and I" directed by Susana Garcia, drama From Father to Son, by Paulo Halma as well as the historical feature film Pedro’s Journey.
