Indonesian President expresses support for Thailand's accession to BRICS

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has expressed full support for Thailand's aspiration to join BRICS. He said during a joint press conference with Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra in Bangkok. This is reported by Antara News.

The statement came during the Indonesian leader's official visit to Thailand. There was held a bilateral meeting to discuss cooperation in the fields of economy, security and regional development. During the meeting, Thailand and Indonesia have officially upgraded their bilateral relations to a strategic partnership.
