Iran's mineral exports exceeds US$6.3 billion in six months
Iran exported mineral products worth more than US$6.3 billion in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year.
From March 21 to September 22, 2024, Iran shipped more than 30 million tonnes of mining and mineral products abroad, accumulating a total export value of US$6.331 billion. This is reported by Mehr News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.
In comparison, 30,492,125 tonnes of minerals worth US$6.396 billion were exported during the same period of the previous calendar year.
Steel, aluminium and copper products accounted for the majority of Iran's mineral exports during this period, with these products alone accounting for more than US$15 million of exports.
