TV BRICS expands partner network of BRICS universities
TV BRICS Media Network continues to expand its partner network universities in the BRICS countries with the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Durban University of Technology in South Africa.
"We are grateful to have media partners invested in informing BRICS citizens about the state of the BRICS Nations without judging but promoting knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas. We look forward to working with TV BRICS in covering our academic work in the next two years" said Prof Fulufhelo Netswera, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences at Durban University of Technology.
“I am thrilled to see our MOU of cooperation between TV BRICS and DUT being extended to cover the BRICS research work we have been doing since 2021 as the DUT-BRICS Research supported by the NIHSS. I look forward to another exciting chapter of sharing on the ground experience of emerging and senior researchers in BRICS 2023 and 2024, respectively" said Dr Ndivhuho Tshikovhi, a Postdoctoral fellow of the Faculty of Management Sciences at Durban University of Technology.
TV BRICS International Media Network has consistently developed cooperation with universities in the five countries, including those in the BRICS Network University. Today, TV BRICS interacts with more than 20 higher education institutions across the five countries.

The Durban University of Technology is one of the flagship universities in South Africa, which is well known outside the country. The media collaboration will help promote South Africa's potential in science, technology and innovation and education.
"We are ready to highlight the university's activities, highlight the youth initiatives of its students, disseminate information about scientific activities through the network of BRICS+ partner media, and plan to engage its specialists as international experts to participate in partner conferences, forums and other events of educational and scientific agenda supported by TV BRICS, and help establish international cooperation between the BRICS universities," she added.
