UAE’s foreign trade reaches historic high in 2024

Non-oil trade with partners increases by US$36.8 billion

By the end of 2024, the UAE’s foreign trade surpassed US$816.9 billion for the first time. This was announced by Prime Minister of the UAE, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

According to him, this achievement confirms the country’s stable economic growth, as reported by Sada El-Balad, a partner of TV BRICS.

Al Maktoum also highlighted that the UAE’s non-oil trade grew by 14.6 per cent, which is seven times the global average. He added that this reflects the success of the country's economic policies aimed at strengthening its position in the global economy.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister stated that the UAE’s Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements contributed to a US$36.8 billion increase in non-oil trade with partners in 2024, representing a 42 per cent rise compared to 2023.
