Kara kozhukattai
Vinusha: «Hi Everyone, I am Vinusha. I am 10 years old; I am the Founder and CBO (Chief Baking Officer) of “Four Seasons Pastry”. Today I am going to make Kara kozhukattai, let us see how to do.
Let see what the ingredients are to prepare Kara kozhukattai.
First grind the soaked Raw rice with water and transfer into Bowl. On the stove, Place the Pan and light the stove. Once it is hot add 25ml of Cooking oil, Mustard seeds, Urad dal and Channa dal, fry it till it become golden brown. Now add the curry leaves, Green chille and Coriander, fry it well.
Now add the grinded Raw rice, add salt for taste. Keep the flame low, mix it well to get the dough. Make it cool for 5 minutes, the dough has cooled down now. We are going to shape the dough, apply oil in your hand and take small amount of dough and make a round shape. Next, I am going to steam the kozhukattai.
Switch on the flame, take a vessel, add some water, on the top place one more vessel and arrange the kozhukattai. Close the vessel with lid. It will take 15 minutes to steam. After 15 minute its time open the lid and Switch off the flame. You can see it, Its cooked very well. Now I am going to transfer into a Plate.
