From ancestors’ recipe. Russian family produces cucumber jam

Residents of the town of Lukhovitsy, which is 140 kilometres away from Moscow and known as the cucumber capital of Russia, are reviving traditions. Aleksey Bezuglov and Yulia Martynova found a list of ingredients for cucumber jam in a family recipe book, which they inherited. They finalised it and started the production line.

How many days does the whole process take, from washing cucumbers to pouring into jars? How do you bake gingerbread and make marshmallows with cucumber filling? And why did the Chinese delegation like cucumbers from Lukhovitsy? Watch our story for details.
