Football-oriented kindergartens were established in China
Experimental kindergartens with a focus on football are opening in China. The Directive of the Ministry of Education of the PRC states the need to promote this sport in the country, the correspondent of tvbrics.com reports with reference to the Xinhua News Agency.
To achieve this goal, 50 to 200 football kindergartens should be established in the settlements of the Chinese provinces. So far, the project is being implemented as an experiment.
The Directive also refers to the encouragement of kindergartens for active participation in children's football events.
Chinese authorities hope that systematic football trainings from an early age will contribute to the comprehensive development of children. Children will run, jump, climb, serve and hit balls at the trainings. This should develop athletic ability.
