For first time in expanded format: 17th BRICS Summit opens in Brazil
Representatives of BRICS member states, partner countries, and international organisations have arrived in Rio de Janeiro. Delegations from more than 30 countries are taking part in the two-day meeting. The agenda includes a review of BRICS activities since the beginning of 2025, discussions on reforming the global governance system, and other pressing issues.
