Russian scientists mixed nanoparticles of boron nitride and zinc oxide. This mixture was applied to the fabric and left for 24 hours. As a result, the fabric acquired three properties: it is moisture-repellent, repels bacteria, and does not require washing – it self-cleans under the influence of ultraviolet light.
