Russian engineers produce small satellites

More than 80 satellites have been launched into Earth orbit by a Russian space company. The satellites weighing from 2 to 3.5 kilogrammes collect information on marine vessels and probe the Earth. Their status is monitored at the mission control centre – specialists conduct about 120 communication sessions per day.

How do small satellites get into orbit? And what surprise did the engineers send into space by hiding it in one of the vehicles?
