ASEAN India Grassroots Innovation Forum (AIGIF) has kicked off in Malaysia with the participation of India and 10 ASEAN member states.

ASEAN India Grassroots Innovation Forum (AIGIF) has kicked off in Malaysia with the participation of India and 10 ASEAN member states. This is reported by the National Portal of India.

AIGIF is an annual program that seeks to enhance the bond between India and ASEAN countries by promoting advancements in science, technology, and innovation. Its primary focus is on social innovation and creating a flourishing innovation ecosystem.

The initiative is a joint effort among several organizations, including the ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation, the Indian government, and Malaysia's Ministry of Science and Technology.

During the forum's inauguration, the Malaysian Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation highlighted the significance of programs like AIGIF in driving transformative innovations that have a positive impact on people's lives.
