Egypt signs strategic agreements to advance vaccine and serum localisation

Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, attended the signing ceremony of three strategic cooperation agreements focused on technology transfer and the localisation of vaccine and serum production, as reported by MENA, a TV BRICS partner.

According to the source, the agreements establish cooperation between national and international institutions specialising in vaccines, pharmaceuticals, regenerative medicine and biomedical research. The partnerships are aimed at facilitating the transfer of advanced technologies and supporting the localisation of biopharmaceutical production in Egypt.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ali El-Ghamrawy, Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority, and Hisham Stait, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and Technology Management, alongside senior health officials and representatives of relevant institutions.
