TV BRICS is available on 60th channel of the Wink service
TV BRICS expands its broadcasting in Russia. Since 10 April, TV BRICS is available to subscribers of the Rostelecom's Wink video service on 60th channel. TV BRICS will offer exclusive content from film and television companies of Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, previously unavailable on Russian television.
"Of course, the launch of Russian-language channel TV BRICS in Rostelecom's Wink service is an opportunity to share new films, programmes from the five countries with a huge audience in Russia," said Ksenia Komissarova, editor-in-chief of TV BRICS.
In the coming months, the viewers of TV BRICS in Rostelecom service can expect to see premieres of author's films by Chinese, Brazilian, Indian, South African, and Russian directors, high-quality documentaries by authors from the five countries, and special premieres of international co-production projects.

Among them is a film about gold mining in the Khabarovsk Krai, winner of a film competition in the BRICS countries, "More Precious than Gold," which is well known to viewers in Brazil, as well as a programme series "Countdown" previously shown on the platform of the Chinese channel CNC.
TV BRICS currently has exclusive access to media content produced by the network's partners in Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa in English, Russian, Portuguese and Chinese, and also carries out professional adaptation of partner content for Russian-speaking viewers.
"The combined content library of the TV BRICS partner network includes TV series, documentaries, author's films, special reports, travel videos, recordings of music concerts, etc. This is the kind of content which no other Russian TV channel offers today," added Ksenia Komissarova.
The TV BRICS channel on the Wink service will host a big premiere of the special project "Silver of Magadan" dedicated to people who work at the largest silver mine in Russia on a rotational basis. They talk about themselves, their work and the romance of the Far North.
They will also premiere the movie " Legacy " (directed by Guilherme Reis from Brazil), about a friendship story commemorated during the traditional Cavalhada de Santo Amaro (horse parade in Santo Amaro), which has been held in Brumal for more than 80 years.
TV BRICS will also broadcast the series Poetic Lishui (directed by Chen Wei, China) on the Wink service. Over a period of 11 months, the film crew visited 53 landscape and cultural heritage sites of the region to the south of the Yangtze River, met the successors of intangible cultural heritage in Lishui City and discovered the stunning poetry and thirst to live the full life of the population.
Wink video service content is represented by more than 300 TV channels. The TV BRICS channel is available to Wink subscribers in the Transformer, Maximum, Premium and all archive packages of the service; the channel can be found on the 60th button.
