Iran and Russia strengthen collaboration in cutting-edge technologies

Bilateral talks focus on joint innovation efforts, with emphasis on research, skilled talent, and mutual benefits in emerging scientific fields

Officials from Iran and Russia have reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in advanced technological fields, including artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, and photonics. This is reported by Pars Today, a partner of TV BRICS.

During a recent high-level meeting, representatives from both nations discussed ways to enhance joint research and development in next-generation technologies. The Iranian side highlighted its progress in AI, noting that despite limited infrastructure investments compared to regional peers, the country has successfully built a capable technical foundation and skilled workforce in this domain.

The Russian delegation acknowledged the growing global significance of AI and its potential to address complex challenges. They stressed that strategic and well-planned implementation of AI could lead to innovative solutions across various sectors. Both sides expressed optimism about future partnerships, aiming to leverage their combined expertise to advance technological innovation and industrial applications.
