Maduro assesses relations with BRICS countries
Venezuela's president has announced his intention to join the organisation
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has described his country's relations with BRICS and BRICS+ member countries as “extraordinary”.
"A new world has emerged, when we talk about BRICS, we are talking about a new world of high technological, scientific, economic and financial development"

Venezuela maintains excellent relations with the BRICS member countries, the president said through the presidential press channel, quoted by teleSUR, a partner of TV BRICS.
Maduro also stressed Venezuela's intention to join the countries that are members of the organisation and the benefits of belonging to the group.
During his speech, he also thanked Russia, China and Cuba for supplying vaccines during the emergency caused by the coronavirus.
