This film demonstrates how modern technologies are changing working conditions in harsh climatic and geological conditions, making hard work easier and safer. We are very pleased that our project has been highly appreciated and is nominated for an award at this prestigious film festival"Ksenia Komissarova Editor-in-Chief of TV BRICS and author of the film "The Golden Coast of the Arctic"
The TV BRICS International Media Network promotes the achievements of Russian companies abroad, shaping the country's image as a world leader in gold mining through specific projects. For example, the documentary about gold mining in Chukotka was adapted into foreign languages and distributed through the TV BRICS partner network. It was shown in January 2024 on the Brazilian TV channel COM Brasil and in the summer of the same year at the Russian-Brazilian school in Rio de Janeiro. In addition, the film premiered in February on Mozambique's public television channel TVM and the South African channel Umthala TV.
This is the fourth film in a series about the mining industry in the Far East. The media network team previously filmed the projects "Gold" and "More Precious than Gold" in the Khabarovsk Territory. The third project was "Magadan Silver", dedicated to those who work on a rotational basis at Russia's largest silver deposit.
The MineMovie Film Festival has been held since 2019. The entries are judged by a reputable jury, which includes experts in the film industry and the mining sector. The festival received 66 applications, which included 98 films. The participants include 32 companies from the mining sector of the economy.
