Why is Kashin considered a city of the Russian heart?
If you look at the centre from above, you can see the symbol of love in the quirky curves of the local river. Kashin is very photogenic: old merchant houses, shopping rows, temples, wooden bridges (they are called lavs here). Anatoly Kharitonov, the programme's presenter, will become an assistant to a local photographer, find out why the local water is considered to be curative, go to a museum where he will cook Russian national fast food. He will also climb a dizzying staircase to the bell tower and find out why the roof of the neighbouring mansion never became golden.
We thank the administration of the city of Murom for their help in organising and filming.
