Why is Poshekhonye considered a town of weirdos?

The locals don't take offence anymore. On the contrary, they support the image of naive provincials in every possible way, willingly telling stories about their fellow countrymen to newcomers. People don't lose their sense of humour and know how to laugh at themselves.
