Malaysia says it plans to apply to join BRICS in 2025
The country will negotiate with Brazil about it
Malaysia will apply to join BRICS in 2025, the country's Foreign Minister Mohamad Hassan said. The South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported.
"Yes now Russia is the presidency, but next year it is Brazil. We want to join when we are the ASEAN chair, so we will negotiate with Brazil"

Earlier, the country's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said in an interview with an online publication that the country plans to start the official procedure to join BRICS.
