UAE team wins 29 medals at Kickboxing World Championship in Uzbekistan

The national team claimed seven golds

The United Arab Emirates national team has achieved a major success at the Kickboxing World Championship, held in Uzbekistan from 8 to 12 October, winning a total of 29 medals, including seven gold, eleven silver and eleven bronze.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS, the UAE ranked ninth among 47 participating countries, reaffirming the national team’s ability to compete at the highest international level.

The UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation stated that the event formed part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming Kickboxing World Championship (Seniors and Masters), which will take place in Abu Dhabi from 21 to 30 November.

The federation added that this success highlights the UAE’s commitment to nurturing athletic talent and providing all the resources necessary to train national teams, develop players, and refine their skills.
