Russian scientists develop new method for restoring voice in cases of laryngeal scarring

The approach is based on the implantation of stem cells from the patient’s own adipose tissue. The biomaterial is transplanted into the affected area, thereby triggering the regeneration of the natural structure of the vocal cords. The scientists have been working on this technology since 2016.
