One of the leaders in Brazil’s audiovisual segment has signed a cooperation agreement with TV BRICS

Film producers from the Federative Republic of Brazil intend to promote their works and creative projects in the BRICS+ media space. To achieve this goal, Brasil Audiovisual Independente (BRAVI), one of the leaders in Brazil's audiovisual sector, will cooperate with the TV BRICS International Media Network. The cooperation agreement was signed by BRAVI Director General Mauro Garcia and TV BRICS CEO and Editor-in-Chief Janna Tolstikova.
The partners' cooperation is aimed at strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties within BRICS, promoting the achievements of national cinema, creating international media projects, developing expert communities and promoting BRICS ideology through art and cinema.
“Brasil Audiovisual Independente, represented in 21 of Brazil's 27 states, is proud to sign an unprecedented cooperation agreement with TV BRICS. In an era of global content distribution, the opportunity to showcase audiovisual works by Brazil's independent film industry in new territories, particularly in BRICS member and partner countries, is a source of pride and generates enormous interest in joint initiatives by the audiovisual industries. May this mark the beginning of broader cooperation between TV BRICS and BRAVI,” said BRAVI Director General Mauro Gracia.
The non-profit organisation Brasil Audiovisual Independente was founded in 1999. Today, BRAVI brings together around 700 production companies from different regions of Brazil. The organisation's main objectives are to promote the development of Brazil's audiovisual market, internationally promote national content and provide professional training for industry specialists.
Aleksandra Burman, Director of the International Cooperation Department at TV BRICS, stressed that by bringing filmmakers from different countries together on its platform, the international media network seeks to showcase to the world the rich cultural diversity and boundless creative potential of BRICS. According to her, the language of art and media diplomacy are the best means of strengthening international relations, developing constructive dialogue and achieving common goals.
Earlier in the region, the Panvision Cultural Association (Brazil) and the Cuban Institute of Art and Film Industry joined TV BRICS' international efforts to promote Latin American cinema. The international media network traditionally provides media support to a number of film festivals in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia and Cuba. In October 2026, for example, TV BRICS will serve as a media partner of the Obera en Cortos International Documentary Film Festival in Obera (Misiones Province, Argentina).
