The BRICS countries already account for over 40 per cent of global GDP at purchasing power parity. Deepening cooperation will enable the group to influence reforms in the sphere of global governance. This was stated by Zhang Weiwei, Director of the China Institute at Fudan University, in an exclusive interview at the TV BRICS studio in the Roscongress International Cooperation Area at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
