China Media Group presents its best TV programmes in Russia
More than 10 TV projects were presented to the guests
The presentation of TV programmes by China Media Group (CMG), a partner of TV BRICS, organised by the Eurasian Bureau and the CMG Translation and Dubbing Centre, took place in Moscow. The event was timed to coincide with the Cross Cultural Years of Russia and China (2024-2025) and aimed at strengthening cultural exchanges and media relations between the countries.
About 200 participants, including representatives of Russian media, teachers and students, attended the meeting. Among the guests were Feng Litao, Minister-Counselor for Culture of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation, Wang Bin, Head of the Eurasian Bureau of the Chinese Media Group, and Yuri Mazey, Vice-Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University. He reminded that the university implements a number of joint projects with Chinese partners, including the university in Shenzhen.
President of China Media Group Shen Haixiong also made a video address at the presentation.
"China Media Group in cooperation with Russian media has organised a presentation of its best programmes. The friendship between our countries, which has long and strong roots, is only getting stronger every year. We are ready to use this opportunity to further expand our partnership with Russian media organisations," he said.
TV BRICS International Media Network also took part in the event. Evgeniya Tolstoguzova, Head of East Asia and Africa Department, emphasised the importance of cooperation with China Media Group and expressed readiness to further expand information exchange.
"China Media Group is a long-standing partner of TV BRICS. We share a common goal of bringing the audience as much accurate and up-to-date information as possible about the culture, economy, and scientific achievements of Russia and China. We do this through a variety of formats: reports, series of programmes, documentaries," Tolstoguzova said.
At the presentation, the guests were introduced to more than 10 TV projects, including popular science show "Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine", and others.
