Ethiopia signs agreement to build 2,000 medical centres
The project is planned to be implemented in five years
The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs, Bonga University, and the Russian company are among the parties that have signed the deal, according to the official. This is reported by ENA.
Official data indicates that the centres would primarily address issues related to family planning, vaccination, childbearing, ageing, and reproductive health, in addition to maternity and child health.
Additionally, 2000–5000 community members will be able to access a range of medical services at each of the medical centres.
