A cutting-edge AI-powered augmented reality (AR) application and virtual reality (VR) 3D e-books have been unveiled to enhance learning outcomes for primary and secondary school students.
Students in grades 6 to 12 use the AR app, which uses artificial intelligence to transform static textbooks and everyday objects into dynamic, interactive content.
By scanning materials with a smartphone, students gain access to thousands of 3D simulations, educational videos, and interactive games, creating an engaging and memorable learning experience.
For younger learners in grades 1 to 5, VR-powered 3D e-books immerse students in virtual environments that bring subjects such as mathematics, science, and history to life. These tools offer simulations, quizzes, and educational games that encourage hands-on learning and foster a deeper understanding of concepts.
Educational experts emphasise that immersive technologies such as AR and VR inspire curiosity and critical thinking, and interactive engagement are key elements for modernising education in the digital age.
As these tools gain traction, they are expected to redefine learning environments across India, ensuring that education remains both impactful and accessible for future generations.
