Iran expands information exchange with foreign countries through TV BRICS
Cooperation between the media network and the Islamic Republic also includes partnership in the fields of culture, science and education
The Islamic Republic of Iran is expanding content exchange with BRICS+ countries through TV BRICS. A new partner that has joined cooperation with the media network is one of Iran’s leading state news agencies, Nour News. The cooperation agreement was signed by the Director General of the Iranian media, Maryam Salimi Namin, and the CEO of TV BRICS, Janna Tolstikova.

With the support of the TV BRICS International Media Network, Iran receives an effective opportunity to promote its humanitarian and business agenda abroad, while at the same time providing the audience of the Republic with up-to-date and reliable information about the activities of other BRICS member states and partner countries of the group.
“For Nour News, the start of cooperation with the TV BRICS International Media Network is a new opportunity to promote truthful, objective information, free from distortions and intermediaries. Our goal is to contribute to expanding cooperation in the field of media communications on the principles of equality and based on common interests for the sake of building a more just, sustainable, and peaceful future. We hope that joint work with TV BRICS will open new opportunities for BRICS+ countries to become acquainted with Iranian culture, literature and the rich humanitarian heritage of our country. And at the same time it will allow us to become more deeply involved in global cultural, economic and political experience,” said the Director General of Nour News, Maryam Salimi Namin.
The state socio-political news agency of Iran, Nour News, was founded in 2019. Its headquarters is located in Tehran. The media specialises in covering events in the fields of domestic politics, international relations, the economy, social life, security, media literacy, and the development of culture and sport. It operates in six languages: Persian, Arabic, English, Chinese, Russian, and Hebrew. Its editorial agenda is complemented by analytical and research materials prepared by the Nour News expert centre.
The CEO of TV BRICS, Janna Tolstikova, noted that cooperation between the media network and Iran is comprehensive, providing for partnership contacts and joint projects not only in the media sphere but also in the fields of culture, science and education.
"We are pleased to welcome among our media partners Nour News – an authoritative Iranian media outlet, close to TV BRICS in spirit and mission. Our joint work to develop the BRICS+ media space, filled with objective information and reliable facts, will undoubtedly be successful. Working with many countries of the world, we observe a real public demand for content about national identity, cultural diversity, scientific and technological potential, and business and trade-economic prospects. All this reflects the values of the BRICS group, which we convey not only through media tools but also through direct partnership ties and humanitarian projects with major state and public institutions. In the Middle East these include the University of Tehran, the Cultural Representation at the Embassy of Iran in Russia, and the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation"![]()
