TV BRICS to assist in the development of Russian-Iranian cultural ties
TV BRICS International Media Network will assist in the development of cultural ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation. The relevant co-operation agreement was signed by Masoud Ahmadvand, Head of the Cultural Representation at the Iranian Embassy in Russia, and Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS.
The partners will work to mutually enrich the cultures of both countries, popularise national languages and strengthen humanitarian cooperation with other BRICS members.
Janna Tolstikova noted that TV BRICS and the Cultural Representation of Iran in Russia only officially record the intention of joint activity, which is already implemented in practice.

In 2024 TV BRIC was the general media partner of the Russian-Iranian art exhibition "Patterns of Friendship", which opened in Moscow and will be held in different cities of both countries.
In August, TV BRICS hosted the world premiere of the documentary film "Noqte" about the art of Iranian calligraphy, created with the support of the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation. The work of director Emir Valinejad will be subsequently presented at Russian and international film festivals as part of special TV BRICS screenings. The first visitors of the street film festival in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk were the first to see the film "Noqte".
In terms of information exchange, the media network co-operates with the leading media outlets in Iran: Mehr News Agency, Tehran Times (part of Mehr Media Group), IRNA and IRIB.

The Cultural Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran opened in Moscow in 1999. Among its main tasks is to present the achievements of modern Iran, develop co-operation with Russia in the fields of science, education, culture, art, music, publishing, tourism and media.
