Moscow's innovative experience in passenger transport to be disseminated through media of BRICS+ countries

Mosgortrans, the Russian capital's surface urban transport operator, has become a partner of TV BRICS

Moscow's urban passenger transport projects will receive information support in the BRICS+ media space. At the exhibition "Moscow Transport 2030" within the framework of the forum-festival Territory of the Future. The cooperation agreement was signed by Nikolay Asaul, General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise “Mosgortrans”, and Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS.

The partners' interaction will be aimed at strengthening cooperation between Moscow and other capitals and cities of BRICS+ countries in the development of infrastructure projects and technological improvement of urban passenger transport.

"'Mosgortrans' is the largest operator of ground urban transport in Russia. The company is actively implementing new technologies to improve the quality of passenger service. Since 2018, a large-scale project has been implemented: scheduled replacement of buses with electric buses. Innovative transport carries passengers on about 140 routes in different parts of the city. For us, co-operation with organisations of international level is an opportunity to announce our global projects, as well as to share valuable experience in the field of passenger transport development. I am sure that the agreement will contribute to improving the image of our company and strengthening ties with partners"

Nikolay Asaul General Director of “Mosgortrans”

"Mosgortrans" operates more than 700 routes in Moscow with a total length of more than 10 thousand kilometres. Every day they are used by about 3 million passengers. The structure of the company includes 17 branches, including five bus fleets and other services that ensure the operation of ground transport. Uninterrupted service, comfort on the road and continuous improvement of transport quality are ensured by about 23 thousand employees. "Mosgortrans" is an active member of Russian and international public transport unions and associations.

Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS, emphasised that the expansion of international cooperation in the field of transport is one of the priorities of the Russian Federation's chairmanship in the BRICS association in 2024. As a partner of Moscow, the Moscow City Duma and "Mosgortrans", the TV BRICS International Media Network promotes a positive image of the Russian capital abroad. For this purpose, TV BRICS uses a wide range of its own information resources, which work in the languages of the BRICS member states, and the capabilities of its partners, which include more than 70 media outlets around the world.
