Riyadh doctors conduct first in region cochlear implant with robotic arm

In Egypt, health authorities have launched a smart application designed to streamline the planning of hospital equipment. By using detailed data on hospital layouts, the system generates customised equipment lists, helping reduce unnecessary procurement and cutting costs, according to TV BRICS' partner Sada El-Balad. Officials believe this will strengthen the country’s position as a regional hub for medical excellence.

Scientists from Iran have created the first prototype of cognitive light therapy glasses using 40-hertz flickering light. The innovation is intended to support elderly patients at the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease, providing a safe, non-drug method of cognitive stimulation, reports IRNA, a partner of TV BRICS. The glasses are currently undergoing initial testing and may eventually become part of wider digital health solutions in neurology.
