Saudi Arabia opens seminar on Saudi-China relations in Beijing

The kingdom is expanding its scope of economic cooperation with China

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives held a scientific meeting in Beijing on the cultural and economic ties between Saudi Arabia and China.

The discussion covered a wide range of subjects, such as the cultural and economic effects of the two nations' maritime trade, the care Chinese libraries take for Arabic manuscripts and the preservation of Arab heritage, and Arab heritage in China.

Both nations engaged in efforts to increase international trade, such as cooperative ventures to build ports, railroads, and industrial zones.
