Ankur Goel, International Investment Specialist: "BRICS provides significant support to entrepreneurs"
The relevance of investments in the BRICS and BRICS+ economies is growing every year. There are about 18 bilateral investment agreements between the member countries of the association, which create favourable conditions for mutual investments. However, entering a foreign market is always fraught with risks. According to experts, in order to successfully launch a business abroad, an individual "market penetration strategy" is needed for each country. When developing it, it’s important to take into account such factors as regional demand, major trends, the legislative framework of the state and the availability of international documents regulating the activities of foreign investors. Another important nuance when concluding multinational transactions is cultural flexibility, the ability to build effective communication and, sometimes, make concessions.
How to reduce risks when entering foreign markets? How can we not only respond to existing consumer requests but also set trends on our own? What should BRICS+ investors bet on in the next 5-10 years?
Ankur Goel, an international investment specialist, answered these and other questions in a BRICSterview.
