The Brazilian Ministry of Sport also said that the BRICS Games are not only a sporting competition, but also a cultural encounter
Brazil will host the next BRICS Games to be held in 2025. The announcement was made during a meeting of BRICS sports ministers. This is reported by the official website of the Government of Brazil.
The BRICS Games in Russia were an opportunity for athletes who wanted to discover their talents and will remain a driving force for those who want to grow and develop. This opinion was expressed by Brazil's Sports Minister Andre Fufuca.
"We have great athletes who have revealed themselves thanks to these Games. I believe they will be a driving force for all athletes who want to grow, develop and leave a legacy. Brazil is capable of presenting a great action and many sporting events," he stated
According to him, the choice of the venue is between the cities of Salvador and Fortaleza in the north-east of Brazil. The minister said that holding the BRICS Games in Brazil would help attract investment to the developing region in the north-east of the country.
From 12 to 23 June 2024, Kazan hosted the BRICS Games, an international competition. It was the first time Russia became the organiser of this event.

Evgeny SolntsevGovernor of Orenburg Region (Russia)"We see growth year after year. Last year, the figure increased by 11.6 per cent. The total share of our products on the sales market is around 24.7 per cent. BRICS countries account for a quarter of all our products. Good-neighbourly relations with Kazakhstan are very important for us. Then come China and India. We primarily focus on these countries because they are our closest neighbours" -
