The competition covers IT, artificial intelligence, healthcare, local innovation, and other fields
Four Iranian projects have been recognised among 22 entries in the BRICS Women Entrepreneurs Forum competition. This is reported by Pars Today, a partner of TV BRICS.
Zahra Farahani, Head of the International Organisations Cooperation Group, said the competition is a key initiative of the BRICS Women Entrepreneurs Forum.
1,000 projects from 30 countries participated in the competition and 26 of them won awards, including four projects of Iranian women entrepreneurs.
Farahani emphasised that the main criteria for selecting the winners were the innovativeness and efficiency of the submitted projects. Successful companies should demonstrate high potential for commercialisation and have opportunities for further growth in the BRICS markets.
The competition covers areas such as information technology, artificial intelligence, healthcare, local innovation, and infrastructure, food security and agriculture.
BRICS Women Entrepreneurs Forum, established in 2020, aims to promote entrepreneurship and women's participation.
