The GITIS Acting School takes place in Kyrgyzstan
The Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) Summer Acting School for students of theatre schools and universities in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan started on Issyk-Kul Lake. It is being held in this place for the third time.
GITIS teachers in acting, stage speech, and stage movement will conduct trainings and master classes within 10 days for students of the Theatre School at the Kyrgyz National Academic Drama Theatre named after T. Abdumomunov and the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. K. Zhurgenov. The university teachers will demonstrate in practice the methodology of the Russian theatre school.
"The GITIS School at Issyk-Kul is not only a great opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful places on our planet, but also daily classes with the leading GITIS teachers in acting, stage speech, and stage movement. The GITIS summer school, a partner of the TV BRICS international media network, is held with the participation of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Presidential Grants Foundation, the Theatre Education Support and Development Fund, and the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.
