Russia grows first crop of exotic fruit
21 varieties of banana have been planted in an experimental greenhouse in the south of the country. The seedlings were brought in from Thailand, Vietnam, China and other countries. Laboratory tests on the first fruits have shown that they are rich in potassium and magnesium and contain no pesticides or toxic elements.
