The event showcases innovative solutions aimed at improving the quality and value of Ethiopia's agricultural products for international trade.
Young entrepreneurs participating in the expo are presenting innovative ideas to maximise profits by increasing the value of Ethiopia's agricultural exports and providing transparent information to buyers.
The startup ecosystem in Ethiopia is seen as a key driver of economic growth, job creation and entrepreneurial opportunities, especially in the agricultural sector. This is reported by ENA.
Amid Ethiopia's desire to shine on the global startup scene, innovators such as Mikiyas Estefanos are adopting technologies such as 'coffee tracking' to revolutionise the coffee industry, which makes up a significant part of the country's exports. This tool allows buyers to track the entire coffee production process, starting from the producer, which ultimately makes Ethiopian coffee more competitive in the global market.
In addition, through such innovations, buyers can get a glimpse of the exceptional quality and uniqueness of Ethiopian coffee, thereby strengthening the country's position in the global coffee trade.
