The country recorded strong growth across chemical production, petroleum refining, transport manufacturing and construction materials

Industrial output in Kyrgyzstan reached US$6 billion in January–July 2026, with the physical volume index rising by 11.2 per cent compared with the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee. This was reported by Akchabar, a partner of TV BRICS.

The strongest growth was recorded in chemical production, which increased 2.9 times, while output of refined petroleum products rose 1.8 times. Production of transport vehicles grew by 41.8 per cent, wood and paper products and printing by 37.5 per cent, and construction materials by 33.6 per cent. Mining output increased by 16.9 per cent, while pharmaceutical production rose by 13 per cent.

Other sectors also recorded positive dynamics. Construction output increased 1.6 times, agricultural production grew by 6 per cent, and wholesale and retail trade expanded by 4 per cent.

Kyrgyzstan’s GDP marked an 11.1 per cent increase year on year. The figures reflect continued growth across the country’s industrial and economic sectors.
