Tehran’s 15th innovation exhibition will bring together technology researchers, startups, investors and government representatives from Iran and other countries
The 15th edition of Iran’s annual International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (INOTEX) will be held from 2 to 5 September 2026 at Pardis Innovation District, bringing together participants from across the technology and innovation sectors. TV BRICS is the international information partner of the exhibition.
The event is supported by Iran’s Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and the Presidential Centre for Progress and Development. Its programme is designed to facilitate contacts between technology developers, startups, investors and public-sector representatives.
In 2026, the exhibition is centred on three themes: smart technologies, digital technologies and sustainable development.
Sajjad Rajabi, Secretary of INOTEX 2026, said Iran's technology sector has developed products and solutions across a broad range of fields, supported by a large pool of engineers, researchers and entrepreneurs.
He said the exhibition could provide a platform for technology organisations from Iran and other countries to explore cooperation, investment and access to new markets.
"Given the growing role of BRICS member states in the global economy and technology landscape, we believe INOTEX can become one of the key points of connection between Iran’s innovation ecosystem and those of BRICS countries. Such a connection would not only introduce Iran’s technological products and capabilities but also create opportunities for knowledge and experience exchange, investment, access to new markets, and the development of joint projects and solutions among technology actors from these countries,” he emphasised.
Another part of the 2026 programme will be INOTEX Pitch, where startups and innovative teams from different countries can present their projects to judges and members of the technology ecosystem.
The international dimension of the exhibition has expanded in recent years. At the previous edition, 27 international companies and 16 trade delegations from 11 countries participated, while organisers reported 144 international B2B meetings that resulted in 10 contracts and memoranda of understanding.
