Iran expands exports to Africa
Trade volume has increased and the number of partner countries has grown from 29 to 34
In the first four months of this year according to the Iranian calendar (March – July 2025), Iran's exports to African countries increased 2.2 times. This was reported by Mohammadreza Safari, Head of the Africa Office at the Trade Promotion Organisation (TPO). This is reported by Tehran Times, a partner of TV BRICS.
According to him, the number of African countries receiving Iranian exports has grown from 29 to 34.
Safari noted that the growth in exports is linked, among other things, to the Iran-Africa Economic Cooperation Summit. He expressed confidence that the implementation of the headquarters' decisions on Africa will accelerate the positive dynamics.
Among the areas where Iran can offer competitive solutions, Safari highlighted specialised services, vocational and technical training, and technology transfer.
