Ethiopia and Brazil to implement Science, Technology, and Innovation Agreement within BRICS

The parties agreed to work together to accelerate the agreement's implementation

Ethiopia and Brazil are actively pursuing avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation, focusing on strengthening their partnership across various key sectors. This is reported by Fana Media Corporation (FMC), a partner of TV BRICS.

Leulseged Abebe, Ethiopia's Ambassador to Brazil, recently met with Vania Gomes da Silva, General Coordinator of Bilateral Cooperation at the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation.

They discussed specific strategies for advancing collaboration between the two nations within the Science, Technology, and Innovation Agreement.

In addition, Ethiopia's ambassador is exploring opportunities for collaborative ventures in industrial development, investment, and trade, both bilaterally and within the framework of the BRICS economic group.

No country is capable of countering cross-border ICT threats on its own. There is a need to develop common rules of the game applicable to all, which would regulate the actions of states and their companies in the digital sphere.
