Experts to discuss the concept of people's saving at the international forum "SO.ZNANIE"

The "SO.ZNANIE" (conscience – Eng.) forum will be held in Nizhny Novgorod on 11-12 December to discuss cooperation in achieving global sustainable development goals. TV BRICS is the international media partner of the event.

Representatives of authorities, mass media and scientific community, as well as heads of public organisations and large enterprises from foreign countries, including Belarus and Uzbekistan, will share practices of forming a sustainable economy and experience in implementing innovations. Special attention will be paid to the issues of international standards and norms that promote the implementation of sustainable practices for the BRICS, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states. Implementation of environmental and climate initiatives will also be key topics for discussion.

According to Olga Piven, Director of the "SO.ZNANIE" Forum, the interest to the event on the part of foreign government and business structures is growing every year. Thus, Ivan Prikhodko, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus, will take part in the meeting. He will speak about the mutual influence of digital technologies and sustainable development.

The business programme includes 30 sessions. It is divided into six thematic tracks: environment, social interactions, ecosystem thinking, smart business and industry, new technologies and human capital.

"SO.ZNANIE" will be held with the support of the Government of Nizhny Novgorod region. The Forum will become an important platform for dialogue and cooperation of the public sector, business and public organizations to solve large-scale social, economic and environmental problems.
