India increases the quality of rice for civil supplies
This was announced by Telangana Civil Supplies and Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy
Nalamada Uttam Kumar Reddy, Minister for Irrigation, Food, and Civil Supplies of Telangana, a state of India, announced that all ration card holders in Telangana will be provided with high-quality rice from January. This is reported by ANI, a partner of TV BRICS.
The Minister emphasised the importance of quality produce for the people and urged the officials to ensure that the rice meets the highest standards. He also directed the officials to supply wheat at subsidised prices wherever required, ensuring that the demand is met across the state.
The minister also demanded improvements in the quality and quantity of rice supplied to boarding schools, hostels, and kindergartens.
